From our latest landscape series ”Surf & Turf; Postcards from Maine”, this intimate necklace features 3 types of found pine tree materials hand cast in epoxy resin. Each different material is carefully selected, carved and set in a frame of sterling silver and a partial bronze backing, and a copper branch breaking the bezel frame. Bright blue semi translucent enamel paint backs a section with open areas allowing light to pass through, bringing the viewer into the woods. Finished with an 18” sterling silver wheat chain that has been antiqued, with a lobster clasp. This necklace is a lovely, sentimental walk in the woods. Pendant size- 2 x 1.25 x 0.25”.
